It seems like this research could improve our understanding of material behavior under extreme conditions. I wonder, could this generalization account for the effects of aging or creep, maybe even how Granny's old cast iron skillet changes over time with heat cycles? Looking forward to reading the full paper and seeing the experimental validation.
