In the modern digital world, more and more data processing is required. When working with them, often use the technology of knowledge engineering. This article examines the ontological approach and focuses on the visual representation of ontologies. The prerequisites for creating a multi-user adaptable ontology editor MulTOnt 1.0 are discussed. The shortcomings of the created research prototype are analyzed, changes of version 1.1 are shown. Based on the requirements for the multi-user editor, the requirements for version 2.0 are highlighted. Based on them, some new features of the editor are considered. In particular, there is a detailed overview of the simultaneous operation of several users at once with a whole set of ontologies.
