Registration and login are required for submitting items online, and for checking the status of current submissions.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with each of the following items, and submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.
Absence of plagiarism. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
Correct manuscript format. Manuscript file format is Microsoft Word (has the extension *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf). The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in "For Authors" section.
Supplement documents. All the required supporting documents (see in details) will be submitted together with the manuscript. Authors guarantee to upload scanned original of the filled cover letter and all tha other supplement docs in PDF. A cover letter should be signed by all authors.

Author,_______________________________________________________________________,
hereinafter referred to as Author, and Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Perm National Research Polytechnic University” (PNRPU), hereinafter referred to as Publisher, represented by Rector, Prof. Anatoly А. Tashkinov, acting pursuant to the University Charter have entered into this Agreement as follows:
1. Author, from the moment of concluding this Agreement, transfers to the Publisher the rights to publish his Article titled

on a free-of-charge basis (Authors: ___________________________________________________________________),
approved and accepted by the Editorial Board of the “Perm Journal of Petroleum and Mining Engineering” in the Russian language (hereinafter referred to as Journal) for the period of time - until the Journal with the Author’s Article will be issued in a print or electronic version and distributed among subscribers or on special requests in Russia and other countries. The Journal allow the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions. The journal allow the author(s) to retain publishing rights without restrictions.
2. The Author guarantees that:
2.1. The manuscript is the original work of the Author with co-authors (if any) and has never been published in this form before.
2.2. This is to confirm that he has gained the consent of all the authors of the Article, and the publication and distribution rights for this Article will be transferred to the Publisher according to the present Agreement.
2.3. He has never published the Article to an extent of more than 15 % in other print and/or electronic journals, except for publications of the Article in the form of pre-print.
2.4. The Article contains all the references of the authors and/or publications cited (stipulated by the copyright laws), as well as the results and facts used in the Article obtained by other authors or organizations.
2.5. The Article does not include materials that are not subject to publication in the open press, in accordance with the current regulatory enactments.
3. The Author is obliged to:
3.1. Include the remarks of reviewers, which have been approved by the Editorial Board of the Journal into the Article.
3.2. Make corrections in the article within the dates schedule by the Journal.
3.3. Never publish an Article to an extent of more than 15 % in other print and/or electronic journals, before the Journal will be published including the Author’s Article to be the subject of the present Agreement.
3.4. Electronically submit the original of the Article with a print version, or, in case the latter is not possible, submit the Article in a form approved by the Journal’s Editorial Board.
3.5. Make corrections in the Article to the extent, which is stipulated by a reviewer and related to mistakes and/or fact-based changes found in the original of the Article.
3.6. Not use an electronic master copy of the Article prepared by the Publisher in the event of its transfer to the Author for commercial purposes and for other media without the consent of the Publisher.
3.7. Provide (in addition to his personal signature) the consent (signature) of the Employer, if the materials of the Article were prepared as part of the job assignment and belong to Employer’s property. This Agreement is to confirm that the Employer transfers to the Publisher all the rights related to the use of the Article on the terms and conditions provided for in this Agreement.
3.8. Follow the Policy of the “Perm Journal of Petroleum and Mining Engineering” Journal with regard to ethical practices for publication of papers, which can be found at the website.
3.9. Provide the extended abstract of the manuscript in Russian within the terms and amounts approved by the Editorial Board to be translated into English and printed in the English version of the Journal (if it is be available, and in case it will be offered by the Editorial Board of the Journal).
4. The Author authorizes the Publisher to:
4.1. Place the Articles’ metadata (the title of an Article, list of authors with their place of work, abstract, key words, references, information about authors) in Russian and English in the Russian Science Citation Index, Scopus International Reference Database, other national and international abstract databases provided that the Journal is included in them.
4.2. Publish the full text of an Article in the form of an electronic layout page at the Journal’s website in the Internet, as well as provide the full text of an Article as an electronic layout page in the Russian Science Citation Index.
4.3. Place the full text of an Article and/or its metadata at the Journal's website, in the Russian Science Citation Index, the International Reference Database of Scopus Citation, and other national and international reference databases, provided that the Journal is included in them on the basis of an open access license, if the authorship is given and it is used for non-commercial purposes Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/legalcode).
4.4. Process personal data, including collection, systematization, accumulation, storing, clarification, use, distribution (including transfer), de-personalization, blocking, destruction of personal data in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On personal data" of July 27, 2009. Personal data shall mean a name, surname, patronymic name, address, information about the degree, academic title, e-mail address, the place of work (related to the Article execution) and position, both in Russian and English.
4.5. If an Article is selected by the Editorial Board, the translation of an Article to be published in the English version of the Journal (if there is an oral or written consent of an Author for such a translation, including that received in the electronic form) and publish the text of this translation on the conditions set forth in Clause 4.3 of the present Agreement.
5. The Publisher is obliged to:
5.1. At its own expense, provide Articles’ reviewing, scientific and literary editing, production and (or) processing of illustrative materials, production of electronic layout page, polygraphic reproduction of the Journal with the Author's Article and its distribution in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, as well as conducting the subscription campaign and collection of applications for the circulation of the Journal, including promotional events.
5.2. According to Clause 2.4 and 3.1 of the present Agreement, obtain the approval from an Author concerning a change in his/her Article.
5.3. Provide the Author with the corrected version of an Article’s layout and make a justified correction to it, taking into account the conditions of Clause 3.5 of the present Agreement.
6. The Publisher guarantees, that without the Author’s consent:
6.1. The Publisher will not use the Article or its parts in any of other print and/or electronic publications.
6.2. The Publisher will not transfer the rights to publish an Article, print or electronic master layout to a third party.
7. The Publisher has the right to:
7.1. Print extra Journals with an Author's Article upon receipt of additional applications.
7.2. Post in the media preliminary and/or advertising information about the forthcoming publication of an Article and published Journals.
7.3. Independently, without notifying the Author, remove the Article from the publication list or use other methods of recalling (retracting) an Article in case of violations of the Policy of the “Perm Journal of Petroleum and Mining Engineering” Journal with regard to ethical practices for publication of papers, which can be found at the website.
8. The present Agreement shall be effective, since the Journal’s Editorial Board announces the confirmation that an Article will be published in the Journal.
9. If an Article is not accepted for publication, the present Agreement shall not be effective.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
