Flow of the Carreau’s fluid in the tube with narrowing walls
Abstract
The pathological bile flow as the Carreau’s fluid in the major duodenal papilla duct as the tube with narrowing walls is considered. The analytical solutions for axial velocity and flow rate depending on pressure drop are obtained. The values of pressures corresponding to the reflux (opposite flow to normal) occurring conditions are computed.

Biomechanical modeling of adaptive processes in the trabecular bone
Abstract
Defining relations allowing to describe the stress-strain state of the trabecular bone in view of its structure, and evolutionary relationships describing the adaptation processes in the bone are given. An algorithm for solving a number of examples and shows the evolution of the trabecular bone in the change of the stress-strain state is developed. The results show the influence of different types of load change on the formation of structures that do not contradict the Y. Wolff’s law.

Questions of the stability of anisotropic plates
Abstract
The technique of determination of the critical load, which leads to loss of stability of anisotropic rectangular hingedly supported plates is proposed. As an example, the problem of stability of anisotropic rectangular plates under compression forces in the middle surface in one direction is given.

The mathematical model of bacterial cells adsorption at the water - bacteria - hydrocarbons interface
Abstract
A mathematical model of the bacteria of the genus Rhodococcus film at the interface of the cell suspension and liquid hydrocarbons is considered. The formation leads to the time-dependence of interfacial tension, where sections with soft reduction exist as well as section with irregular dependence. In the model, using the Monte Carlo method, this dependence is explained on the basis of assumptions about the accumulation of cells at the interface, the formation of a single cluster of cells, and accidentally breaking his instrument.

The determination of spatial stress-strain state of human proximal femur
Abstract
Work is dedicated to the problem of modeling the structural adaptation of spongy bone tissue of the proximal femur after hip surgery osteosynthesis. In this paper, the elastic problem of determining of equilibrium strain field in the proximal femur during single support phase step in the norm. Equilibrium strain is strain at which there is no adaptation of bone tissue. Individual model of the proximal femur with an inhomogeneous distribution of mechanical properties in each finite element of model is constructed. Fields of equilibrium strain, which do not contradict to known experimental data, both qualitatively and quantitatively, are calculated with finite element method. The equilibrium strain are necessary for the formation of local incentives to adapt in the future.

The optimal parameters selection for gas gun using numerical simulation
Abstract
The paper presents the results of a numerical study of the shot process of the gas gun. The analysis of the influence of the initial pressure in the barrel of the gun on the rate of shot is performed, necessity of optimal geometry of the gun (barrel length) selection to achieve the highest possible rate of shot is also illustrated on the a specific example.

Study of stress-strain state of the sheet billet in the process of pipe forming
Abstract
The process of forming a cylindrical billet in order to analyze stress changes on the thickness of the billet in the form of a metal strip under sequential plastic bending is studied.

Basic business simulation game "Competition of management organizations in the market of the management of apartment buildings"
Abstract
The basic rules of the business game simulation, designed to study the competition management organizations in the market of the management of apartment buildings are described. Possible options for the modification of the game, which can serve as terms of reference for the planning of behavioral experiments are presented. The described approach of the study of competition can be applied to many other industry challenges, such as competition of management companies involved in the management of commercial real estate, competition of medical institutions and many others. Work prepared by the participants of the seminar "Basics of publishing activities."
